SPRING FLING PROJECT

2018 SPRING FLING PROJECT

This year, we are working on the "Set the Table for Success" project. The first $12,000 dollars raised will go to AWR PTA to fund every single activity the PTA provides over the course of the year. Any excess funds raised will go towards our "Set the Table for Success" project. This project is to spruce up the cafeteria. Some improvements includes:

• New table/chair combinations to alleviate overcrowding of personal space, easy fold up and put away, and allows for the old chairs to be distributed to other areas in need.
• New Sound System (RedCat Capabilities) to use for announcements, 5th Grade Parties, 5th Grade DARE, Kindergarten Concert, Spelling Bee, and many more events.
• Two TV monitors to provide digital announcements and viewing as needed.
• Repainting the structure poles (currently black), to provide a brighter environment.
• 80 New Sturdy Plastic Folding chairs for assemblies in the cafeteria.

We are looking forward to providing an environment where I children feel empowered to learn and strive.

In the past, our Spring Fling fundraisers generated over $25,000 and funded some of our greatest projects. For example:

• Repainting of Classrooms
• Repainting and updating the Nurse's office
• Renovation of the Outdoor Learning Space
• Providing RedCat systems for teachers 
• and much more.
