I’ve noticed a driver or person not obeying school procedures. What’s the best way to proceed? First and foremost, we are all looking out for our children’s safety. Please keep in mind that certain arrangements might have been pre-approved by the AWR administration to accommodate a specific circumstance. Therefore, we strongly suggest you refrain from using social media if you observe something that appears to contradict the school’s policies and procedures. If there is a situation that you find troubling or puts others in danger, we strongly suggest you make a note of the car and license plate (or any other pertinent information) and report it to [email protected]. We prefer that communication be done this way, in a private and confidential manner, to avoid any misunderstandings or conflicts. The information will be passed on to our principal, Mr. Richter, or the New Providence Police Department if necessary. The Safety Committee has worked hard to provide everyone with as much information as possible, but we know that problems can arise and this is the most effective way of dealing with them.

They will wait quietly outside their classroom under the supervision of a duty teacher until their homeroom teacher arrives and opens the door to their classroom.
