About Spring Fling
Spring Fling is the largest fundraiser for Allen W. Roberts (AWR) and occurs every year around March/April. It's an annual celebration bringing together the PTA and AWR community in supporting our AWR children's education.
Funds raised by the Spring Fling directly goes to AWR's science, music, art, math, computer, library activities, other education programs, and maintaining our school grounds (shown the the chart to the left).
Spring Fling is an adult only event and includes dinner, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, raffles, and games (all prizes are provided to the winner at the event). Our event includes:
Our goal for every Spring Fling is 100% parent/children participation, whether by volunteering, donating gift baskets, purchasing auction items, and/or attending the event.

- Gift/Raffle baskets which are donated by AWR children classes (class basket fundraiser), families (personal basket donations) and surrounding community business donations. The raffle baskets includes awesome prizes, like RING products, iRobot, Cash Tree, Spa Treatments, GoPro, Getaways, and much more!
- The Silent or Live Auction is composed of great donated gifts which are priceless. Everyone has an opportunity to purchase right away or bid.
- Games are composed of:
- Jackpot Game which gives everyone a chance to win $1,000 gift card.
- The 50/50 Raffle which allows someone to win half of the money raised in the 50/50 game.
